劇情簡介
喬治﹝冰人﹞威廉(Ving Rhames文洛姆飾)是一個眾所皆知的重量級拳擊冠軍。不過他犯了強姦罪，被送往專關重大罪犯的斯威瓦特監獄；而當時監獄裡也有一個不敗的拳手，叫做蒙若赫臣(Wesley Snipes威利斯史奈普飾)。他曾於一個待在獄裡多年的黑幫老大—曼帝瑞布斯頓的面前，殘忍地打倒另一個對手。 典獄長和守衛為了防止這兩個拳手打起來，刻意將赫臣關在隔離牢房，並安排了一個室友明哥給冰人。冰人希望能在獄中當頭頭，此時赫臣仍平靜的待在隔離房裡。很快地瑞布斯頓決定舉辦一場冰人與赫臣的比賽，因為他自己就是一個拳擊迷，而且他認為這次的打鬥應該會非常吸引人。瑞布斯頓派他的左右手，一個叫做喬依布佐的傢夥去進行。他設法從賭註中提供一筆獎金給赫臣…. 這兩個拳手可以練習六個月，整個監獄都充滿了揣測，然而其實，監獄的人都傾向支持赫臣。隨著日期的逼近，典獄長想試著取消這場打鬥，但被喬依阻止並威脅他，使得比賽無法回頭只能如期進行。 比賽當晚，賭徒紛紛下註。同時全部的人都聚在一起，包括坐在第一牌的瑞布斯頓。比賽進行的打鬥非常殘忍，兩人纏鬥直到最後…八個月後，監獄的人都在看一場電視拳擊賽，他們全都知道誰會是那個打不倒的冠軍！
