劇情簡介
娜麗達（艾西瓦婭·雷 Aishwarya Rai Bachchan 飾）出生在一個傳統的印度家庭之中，她有三個姐妹，都到了嫁人的年齡，為了將女兒們嫁進好人家，白先生（阿努潘·凱爾 Anupam Kher 飾）和白太太（Nadira Babbar 飾）可謂是費了不少的周章。 然而，聰慧機敏的娜麗達卻並不願意接受父母安排的姻緣，她相信，只有她自己才能決定，誰才是真正適合她的男人，父親和母親將娜麗達的舉動視為叛逆，深感頭痛。一次偶然中，娜麗達結識了名為達西（馬丁·亨德森 Martin Henderson 飾）的富翁，起初，兩人都看對方很不順眼，處處挑刺找茬，關係十分緊張。然而，隨著時間的推移，達西漸漸發現娜麗達並不是那種腦袋裏空空的繡花枕頭，而娜麗達亦發現了達西善良真摯的一面，愛情的火苗暗自滋長。
