劇情簡介
女孩卡門（娜塔麗婭·沃拜克 Natalia Verbeke 飾）即將和她相識不久的愛人巴納比（詹姆斯·達西 James D'Arcy 飾）結婚了，盡管卡門對於巴納比的感情並不深厚，但巴納比富裕的財產足以讓卡門找到與他結合的理由。在儀式中，根據傳統，卡門必須親吻一個陌生男子，那名男子就是基特（蓋爾·加西亞·貝納爾 Gael García Bernal 飾）。 這個吻讓卡門驚訝的發現，自己的真命天子原來正是基特，可此時她已經無法再放棄一切重新選擇了，一段復雜的三角關係在兩男一女之間就此展開。婚後的生活並沒有卡門想象的那樣單純，沒有愛情的婚姻令她無時不刻不在痛苦中煎熬。同時，一些奇怪的事情開始在卡門的周圍發生，她發現自己似乎被卷入了某個秘密之中。
